61st Annual Conference on Magnetism and Magnetic Materials
With the financial support from Frontier Research Institute for Interdisciplinary Sciences (FRIS), Tohoku University, I had a good opportunity to share my research in 61th Annual Conference on Magnetism and Magnetic Materials held on Oct. 31-Nov. 4, 2016, at New Orleans in USA. MMM conference is a premier conference in the field of basic and applied science and technology related to the field of magnetism, attracting a lot of participants from all over the world every year. Since 1955, it has been very successfully organized in USA, including San Francisco, Chicago and so on and provided a platform for researchers in the field of magnetism.
The conference was held in New Orleans this year, providing me a good chance to share and discuss with many scientists in the field of magnetism. I came to know the on-going cutting-edge research across the world. I also had the chance to give my oral speech on “Enhancement in Low-field Sensitivity of TMD and TMR in 2D Co/AlF Granular Films”. The audience, of course, asked a few questions about the application of this matter and gave me good advice and encouragement. The critical comment greatly inspired me and would be beneficial for conducting future research especially in the field of magnetoelectric field. I learned a lot as well form oral speech and posters delivered by other participants from all over the world, which widened my horizon.
It is the first time for me to go to New Orleans in USA. This city has a lot of amazing architecture and beautiful sunshine beaches with fresh air and friendly people. I appreciate this good experience to learn worldwide research topics and prospects.
I greatly acknowledged again the financial support from FRIS.
