Thanks to the "Support for the presentation in international conferences 2022" program offered by the Frontier Research Institute for Interdisciplinary Sciences, I was honored to be an invited speaker at the 15th Asia Pacific Physics Conference (APPC15). This series of conferences, covering all areas of physics, is organized by AAPPS. The conference was held fully online, with a few hybrid sessions at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, from August 21-26, 2022.

 

During the conference, I attended various lectures and poster presentations, which provided me with valuable insights and knowledge on the latest research techniques that will undoubtedly contribute to my research development.

 

I delivered my research results during the conference as an invited speaker with the title "Stochastic parameter-shift rule for quantum metrology." The presentation introduced a quantum-circuit-based approach for studying quantum metrology with general Hamiltonians. The method allows for the derivatives of the evolved quantum state under the parameterized gates in the circuit, whereby the quantum Fisher information can be obtained. I also had the opportunity to discuss my research with interested researchers in related fields.
