Note: Response to voluntary ban on business trip/出張自粛への対応

Dear FRIS members,
At FRIS, in case you cancel a business trip based on your own judgment in consideration of the occurrence of a new type of coronavirus infection at the venue of the conference, not as a reason for the cancellation of the conference, we treat it as equivalent to cancellation due to "unavoidable reason (accident/natural disaster)" as a special case.
学際研では、学会の中止によらず、開催地での新型コロナウイルス感染症の発生状況を考慮し、自己判断により出張を取り消す場合については、特例として「やむを得ない理由（事故・天災等）」による取消と同等に取扱います。
Therefore, we accept the cancellation fee (participation fee, airfare, etc.), so if you have a business trip you want to cancel, please ask the general affairs section.
従いまして、キャンセル料（参加費・航空賃等）の支出を認めますので、取消を希望する出張がある場合は、総務担当へご相談ください。
The specific handling is as follows.
取扱いは以下のとおりです。
1) In the remarks column of the travel plan cancellation form (旅行計画取消書), please write down the statement "I will cancel this business trip to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection in consideration of the outbreak situation".
１）旅行計画取消書の備考欄に「新型コロナウイルス感染症の発生状況を考慮し、感染拡大防止のため出張を取りやめる」旨を記入してください。
2) Cancellation fees will be paid at the expense of the scheduled business trip, but if there are any restrictions due to external funds, etc., please ask us individually.
２）キャンセル料については、原則出張を予定していた経費での支払いとなりますが、外部資金等により特別な制約がある場合は、個別にご相談ください。
