Einstein's relativity tells us how the spacetime evolves. In fact, one can show that the Universe is 13.8 billion years old and is expanding. It has been revealed what has happened in the Universe starting from one second after the birth till present. It is also believed that inflation happens, the Universe is reheated, and matter and dark matter are generated within one second after the birth. However, nobody knows when and how these phenomena happen. I am a theoretical physicist working on these topics by using elementary particle physics and gravitational theory. My work is related to a very broad topic in physics and astrophysics. Sometimes I also have to think about philosophical issues, including the origin of the spacetime itself. It is also important to understand the conditions for the existence of mankind in the Universe. I am trying to reveal the thermal history of our Universe by collaborating with experts on nuclear theory, plasma physics, condensed matter physics, astrophysics, biology, and philosophy in FRIS. |
